Petrus 5:8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8222;Efeu an der Mauer.&#8220;<\/em><em>&#8222;Des Menschen verderbte Natur hat man mit einem wilden Feigenbaum verglichen, oder mit Efeu, das an einer Mauer w\u00e4chst, von dem man Stamm, Zweige, Sprossen und \u00c4ste abschneiden kann, und doch wird noch etwas da sein, das wieder aufschiesst, so lange bis die Mauer zerst\u00f6rt wird.&#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wenn wir meinen, dass wir ziemlich fertig mit der S\u00fcnde sind, so schiesst sie pl\u00f6tzlich wieder auf und scheint so kr\u00e4ftig wie eh und je. Wie man von einem Baume sagt:\u00a0<em>&#8222;Beim Geruch des Wassers wird er Knospen treiben,&#8220;<\/em>\u00a0so ist es mit unsrer verderbten Natur, bei der ersten Gelegenheit wird sie Sprossen treiben. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ruhmredige Christen haben davon geschwatzt, dass f\u00fcr sie keine Wahrscheinlichkeit des S\u00fcndigens mehr vorhanden w\u00e4re, aber erfahrene Gl\u00e4ubige f\u00fchlen in der Tiefe ihres Herzens das B\u00f6se ihrer Natur, und wandeln deshalb dem\u00fctig mit Gott und schreien zu Ihm, dass Er sie vor dem B\u00f6sen bewahre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oft geschieht es, dass der Prahler \u00fcberlistet wird von dem Feind, den er tot und begraben glaubte, w\u00e4hrend der wachsame, sorgf\u00e4ltige Christ inmitten der hei\u00dfesten Versuchungen bewahrt bleibt und f\u00e4hig gemacht wird, seine Integrit\u00e4t aufrecht zu halten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir m\u00f6gen wohl an die Lebenskraft des B\u00f6sen glauben, wenn wir sehen, wie es die Bem\u00fchungen der Gnade \u00fcberlebt;
