Ist er ein eigenwilliger junger Mensch, der weggegangen ist, weil er die Zucht in einer christlichen Familie nicht ertragen konnte? Es ist traurig, dass es so ist; aber verzage nicht. Du wei\u00dft nicht, wo er ist; aber Gott weiss es. Du kannst ihm nicht folgen; aber der Geist Gottes kann es. Er ist auf der Reise nach Schanghai, und es mag ein Paulus in Schanghai leben, der das Mittel zu seiner Bekehrung sein soll. Geht er nach Australien? Es mag dort ein Wort zu ihm gesprochen werden, das sein Herz erreicht. Ich kann es nicht sprechen, aber ein Mann dort wird es tun; und deshalb l\u00e4sst Gott ihn in seinem Eigensinn von dannen gehen. Denn das ist f\u00fcr ihn der Weg, auf dem er schlie\u00dflich heimfindet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein Seemann schrieb mir einmal folgendes:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-palette-8-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8222;Meine Mutter bat mich, jeden Tag in der Bibel zu lesen. Aber ich tat es nie. In Havanna wurde ich in ein Krankenhaus eingeliefert, und es lag ein Sterbender neben mir, der kurz vor seinem Tod zu mir sagte: &#8218;Kamerad, ich muss mit dir reden. Ich habe hier etwas, das mir sehr wertvoll ist. Ich war ein wilder Bursche, aber das Lesen dieser Predigten hat mich zum Heiland gef\u00fchrt. Wenn ich nun heimgegangen bin, dann nimm bitte diese Predigten und lies sie und schreibe dem Mann, der diese Predigten hielt und drucken lie\u00df, dass Gott sie zu meiner Bekehrung gesegnet hat.'&#8220;<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es war ein Paket mit Predigten von mir, und Gott segnete sie an diesem jungen Mann, der in dieses Krankenhaus gef\u00fchrt wurde, um dort zu Christus gef\u00fchrt zu werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Onesimus h\u00e4tte zu Hause bleiben k\u00f6nnen und nie ein Dieb zu werden brauchen; aber er w\u00e4re vielleicht durch Selbstgerechtigkeit verlorengegangen. Jetzt wird seine S\u00fcnde offenbar. Der Taugenichts hat die Verderbtheit seines Herzens enth\u00fcllt, er kommt unter das Auge und Gebet des Paulus und wird bekehrt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ich bitte dich: Verzweifle niemals an einem Mann, einer Frau oder einem Kind, weil du ihre S\u00fcnde sofort erkennst.
