Diese Gesinnung nennt der Herr k\u00f6stlich. Dem nat\u00fcrlichen Menschen ist sie nicht eigen. Er b\u00e4umt sich auf gegen alles, was ihn hemmt und dr\u00fcckt. Aufrecht will er durch die Welt schreiten und \u00fcber alle Hindernisse siegen. Siehe, da begegnet ihm eine grauverh\u00fcllte Gestalt, die Not. Sie ist m\u00e4chtiger als er. Er k\u00e4mpft gegen sie an und reibt sich wund, und muss doch unterliegen. Denn sie ist Gottes Bote zu seinem Heil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wohl ihm, wenn er sich gehorsam beugt unter die g\u00f6ttliche Heimsuchung, welcher Art sie auch sein m\u00f6ge. Wohl ihm, wenn er die Last willig tr\u00e4gt, um deswillen, der sie ihm gesandt hat, ja noch mehr, um deswillen, der einst sein Kreuz trug und uns hei\u00dft, unser Kreuz auf uns nehmen und ihm nachfolgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ist dir eine B\u00fcrde auferlegt, liebes Herz, so wisse, sie soll dir zum Besten dienen. Sch\u00fcttle sie nicht unwillig ab. Halte aus, bis Gottes Stunde schl\u00e4gt. \u00dcbe dich im Drunterbleiben, so wirst du finden, dass du nichts verloren, sondern etwas K\u00f6stliches gewonnen hast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Du, Lamm Gottes, wardst allzeit erfunden geduldig.
