Du kannst sagen: Er ist in meinen Augen g\u00f6ttlich, und wenn Er sonst f\u00fcr alle Welt nur Mensch w\u00e4re. Er hat f\u00fcr mich vollbracht, was kein anderer tun kann au\u00dfer Gott.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Er hat meinen unbeugsamen Willen gebrochen, mein diamantenhartes Herz geschmolzen, er hat eherne Thore gesprengt und eiserne Fesseln zerrissen. Er hat mein Weinen in Lachen verwandelt und meine stumme Verzweiflung in laute Freude; Er hat mein Gef\u00e4ngnis gefangen gef\u00fchrt und mein Herz erf\u00fcllet mit unaussprechlicher und herrlicher Freude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00f6gen Andere von Ihm denken, was sie wollen, mir ist Er der Eingeborene vom Vater, und muss es bleiben: Hochgelobet sei Sein Name. Und Er ist voller Gnade. Ach! wenn er nicht gewesen w\u00e4re, so w\u00e4re ich nie selig geworden. Er zog mich zu sich, wenn ich mich losringen wollte von Seiner Gnade; und als ich endlich ganz zitternd, wie ein verurteilter Verbrecher zu Seinem Gnadenstuhl kam, sprach Er: deine vielen und gro\u00dfen S\u00fcnden sind dir alle vergeben; sei getrost!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Und Er ist auch voller Wahrheit. Alle Seine Verhei\u00dfungen sind Ja und Amen gewesen, und es hat auch nicht an Einem gefehlt. Ich bekenne, dass nie ein Knecht einen solchen Meister hatte, wie ich einen habe; nie hat ein Bruder einen solchen treuen Freund gehabt, wie Er sich gegen mich erzeigte; nie hat eine Braut einen so herrlichen Br\u00e4utigam gehabt, wie Christus es f\u00fcr meine Seele war; nie je ein S\u00fcnder einen g\u00fctigen Heiland, nie je ein Betr\u00fcbter einen kr\u00e4ftigen Tr\u00f6ster, als Christus es meinem Geiste gewesen ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ich will nur Ihn, nur Ihn! Im Leben ist Er mein Leben und im Tode ist Er meines Todes Tod; in Armut ist Christus mein Reichtum; in Krankheit mein Ruhekissen; in Dunkelheit mein heller Stern und in der Herrlichkeit meine Sonne; Er ist das Manna im Lager der W\u00fcste, und Er ist das neue Korn im Lande Kanaan. Der Herr Jesus ist mir ganz Gnade und sein Gericht ganz Wahrheit und kein Trug: von Gnade und Wahrheit ist Er erf\u00fcllt, ganz und gar erf\u00fcllt.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
