Ihr Besitzer hatte das Grundst\u00fcck teuer erworben. Oftmals sah ich ihn im Garten, wie er sein Eigentum pflegte. Mit der Zeit bekam das Haus noch eine Panoramaterrasse mit Whirlpool und einen Anbau zur Vergr\u00f6\u00dferung der K\u00fcche. Jetzt laufe ich wieder an dem Grundst\u00fcck vorbei, und im Hof steht ein Abrissbagger. Der Besitzer ist weggezogen, und dem K\u00e4ufer hat der Stil des tipptopp gepflegten Hauses nicht gefallen. Er l\u00e4sst es kurzerhand abrei\u00dfen und durch einen modernen Neubau ersetzen. M\u00fchelos \u00bbknabbert\u00ab sich der Abrissbagger durch den neuen K\u00fcchenanbau, durch den tadellosen Dachstuhl und die polierten Marmorplatten der B\u00e4der. Ich \u00fcberlegte mir: \u00bbWas denkt sich wohl der ehemalige Eigent\u00fcmer?\u00ab<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als der Feldherr Titus 70 n. Chr. Jerusalem einnahm, die Stadt in Schutt und Asche legte und den Tempel zerst\u00f6rte, ging f\u00fcr ein ganzes Volk ein Traum unter und dessen Identit\u00e4t verloren. Aber auch f\u00fcr uns, die wir in Frieden leben und uns gl\u00fccklich sch\u00e4tzen d\u00fcrfen, in einem Land mit \u00dcberfluss zu leben, wird einmal der Zeitpunkt kommen, an dem wir uns von allem trennen m\u00fcssen. Das letzte Hemd hat bekanntlich keine Taschen. Deshalb sollte uns jetzt schon wichtig sein, in das zu investieren, was \u00fcber dieses Leben hinaus Bestand hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Der Herr Jesus r\u00e4t uns: \u00bbSammelt euch aber Sch\u00e4tze im Himmel\u00ab (Matth\u00e4us 6:20). Damit meinte er, dass wir zuallererst nach Gottes Willen fragen und dann dementsprechend handeln. Damit investiert man wahrhaft in seine Zukunft.
