Als er krank wurde, liessen seine beiden Schwestern Martha und Maria dem Herrn Jesus sagen: \u00abHerr, siehe, der, den du lieb hast, ist krank.\u00bb Sie hofften, dass Er sofort zu ihnen k\u00e4me, um ihren Bruder gesund zu machen. Doch Lazarus starb, bevor Jesus in Bethanien eintraf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Martha ging Ihm entgegen und teilte Ihm sogleich ihre Entt\u00e4uschung mit: \u00abHerr, wenn du hier gewesen w\u00e4rest, so w\u00e4re mein Bruder nicht gestorben.\u00bb Doch dann folgen Worte, die ihren Glauben bezeugen: \u00abAber auch jetzt weiss ich&nbsp;&#8230;\u00bb Obwohl es nicht so gekommen war, wie Martha es sich vorgestellt hatte, vertraute sie weiter auf den Herrn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wie sch\u00f6n, wenn in einer schweren Lebensphase der Glaube nicht erlischt. Wie gut, wenn in einem Unwetter die Flamme unseres Vertrauens auf Gott weiter leuchtet, obwohl sie ab und zu nur noch einer kleinen flackernden Kerze gleicht. Es ist der Herr, der unseren Glauben in einer dunklen Stunde aufrechterh\u00e4lt.
