Er war in einem streng orthodoxen Elternhaus in Israel aufgewachsen. Von Kindheit an war er mit den Vorschriften des mosaischen Gesetzes gut vertraut und er bem\u00fchte\u00a0 sich, danach zu leben. Schon fr\u00fch war ihm aufgefallen, welche Bedeutung das Blut von Opfertieren im Gesetz Gottes hatte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Schon beim Auszug des Volkes Israel\u00a0 aus \u00c4gypten hatte das Blut des Passahlamms eine entscheidende Rolle gespielt. Es musste gut sichtbar an den H\u00e4usern der Israeliten angebracht werden. Nur dann w\u00fcrde der Engel des Gerichts an ihnen vor\u00fcbergehen und sie verschonte (2. Mose 12:1-50). Auch an vielen anderen Stellen in der Thora (den f\u00fcnf B\u00fcchern Mose) war von Opfern und vom s\u00fchnenden Blut die Rede. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Und unser j\u00fcdischer Freund verstand sehr gut, dass solche Opfer\u00a0 und das Blut der Opfertiere notwendig war. Er selbst und alle anderen Angeh\u00f6rigen seines Volkes\u00a0 waren nicht in der Lage, die Gebote Gottes in allem zu halten. Daher waren sie darauf angewiesen , dass ihre Verfehlungen ges\u00fchnt wurden. Und dazu sollten Opfertiere geschlachtet werden, so hatte Gott es durch Mose geboten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wie verwundert war dieser Jude, als ihm mit einem\u00a0 Mal aufging, dass in den Ritualen, die er und seine Glaubensgenossen praktizierten, das Blut v\u00f6llig fehlte! Auf seine besorgte Frage hin erkl\u00e4rte ihm ein Rabbiner. \u201eGott z\u00fcrnt uns; sein Volk ist zerstreut worden und der Tempel zerst\u00f6rt. Und auf dem Tempelberg, dem einzigen Ort, wo geopfert\u00a0 werden darf, steht jetzt eine islamische Moschee. Deshalb kann kein Blut f\u00fcr unsere S\u00fcnden dargebracht werden.&#8220; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unser Freund verstand das; doch seine S\u00fcnden und dass das S\u00fchnungsblut fehlte, das bedr\u00fcckte ihn weiterhin. Gestern haben wir von einem gottesf\u00fcrchtigen Juden gelesen, der sehr besorgt dar\u00fcber war, dass man Gott nach der Zerst\u00f6rung des Tempels (im Jahr 70 n. Chr.) keine Opfer mehr darbringen\u00a0 konnte, so wie es im Gesetz Moses vorgeschrieben\u00a0 war. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Was wurde denn nun aus ihm und seinen S\u00fcnden, wenn es keine S\u00fchnung geben konnte, weil keine Opfertiere mehr dargebracht und demnach kein Blut mehr vergossen werden konnte?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese dr\u00e4ngende Frage besch\u00e4ftigte unseren Freund jahrelang. Als er sp\u00e4ter in Istanbul lebte und eines Abends durch die Stra\u00dfen der Stadt ging, sah er ein Hinweisschild, das auf eine Veranstaltung f\u00fcr Juden hinwies. Interessiert trat er ein und setzte sich. Der Redner sagte gerade: \u201e<strong>Das Blut Jesu Christi reinigt uns von aller S\u00fcnde.<\/strong>&#8220; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atemlos h\u00f6rte der Besucher zu, als von Jesus erz\u00e4hlt wurde, der als <strong>\u201eLamm Gottes&#8220;<\/strong> auf die Erde gekommen war, um sein Blut zur Vergebung der S\u00fcnden hinzugeben. An diesem Abend wurde ihm klar. <strong>\u201eEndlich habe ich das S\u00fchnungsblut gefunden !&#8220;<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durch den Glauben an den Herrn Jesus und sein Erl\u00f6sungswerk empfing er Vergebung seiner S\u00fcnden und Frieden mit Gott. Wie lange hatte er sich danach gesehnt! Sp\u00e4ter lernte unser Freund aus dem Neuen Testament: Das Blut der Opfertiere im Alten Testament konnte keine einzige S\u00fcnde wegnehmen. Diese Opfer waren nur Hinweise auf das einzigartige und vollkommene Opfer, das Gott in seiner Liebe selbst geben w\u00fcrde: das S\u00fchnopfer Jesu am Kreuz von Golgatha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Blut Jesu Christi ist das einzige S\u00fchnmittel f\u00fcr unsere S\u00fcnden. Und wer an den Sohn Gottes und sein S\u00fchnungsblut glaubt, hat die Zusicherung Gottes, dass er von seinen S\u00fcnden ganz freigesprochen ist (R\u00f6mer 3:21-26).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
